Misunderstood cologne

I've read some of the bad reviews here and how they describe the scent and began to ask myself "why did they buy this in the first place?" I found this for super cheap on Amazon and decided to make this a blind buy after reading some reviews about it. The reviews from other sites mentioned it was a more sophisticated version of Davidoff's Cool Water but it really isn't.



I got this home and decided to try it on thinking it might have notes of citrus but this cologne is nothing but an aquatic. At first I was disappointed but then realized just looking at the design of the box and bottle that this cologne was meant recreate the crisp clean and fresh scent coming from the ocean. It's fresh aquatic and has a hint of blueberry.



I'm currently trying to finish up my sporty fragrances before making this my everyday cologne. I still use this every once in a while when I get tired of the usual frags I use. It's great and for the price - who can complain?More detail ...

I don't usually go gung-ho over fragrances--I've owned a few over the years that I liked and found attractive in fragrance but when I first smelled Euphoria in a magazine ad I was hooked. The scent is warmwoodyfull and sweet with a light oriental touch. Interesting but not bad . . .

I find this perfume to be quite interesting and like nothing else I own. I usually wear Noa (cacharel) Une Fleur (chanel) or Pure Grace (philosophy) so I normally like a light floral scent. I was really excited about trying this when it came out but the first time I smelled this from the bottle it did not appeal to me which was a surprise after hearing Oprah rave about it. The second time I thought what the heck and put some on in the store. I found that this perfume develops into quite a "lovely" and sensual fragrance once it has time to interact with your body chemistry. What counts is that my husband likes it on me just to note: he did not like it when he smelled it straight from the bottle either. This perfume lasts a long time which is not a surprise since it is eau de parfum. Horrible purchase

I purchased this product as a gift and had it shipped to my nephew in Texas. He loves this cologne and unfortunately when he received this one he was well disappointed. It DOES NOT smell like the original authentic cologne and if anybody would know it would be him. He compared the little bit of cologne he had left in his old bottle to the cologne in this new bottle and they are VERY different. I believe this cologne I purchased is an imitation liquid. I am very disappointed in this product and extremely embarrassed since this was a gift. I had to go out of my way and purchase the authentic version from a department store and ship it to my nephew myself. Thanks Amazon!!!!!

Serious and Sexy

Recommended by the "So You'd like to start wearing cologne" guide on amazon (of which I bought and reviewed them all) this cologne is another almost perfect male fragrance. The term that comes to mind in this case is "EQ". It just has a perfect range of scents that are very well balanced between bass mids and high notes. It is not too citrusy like many other colognes that I happen to like it is more serious and definitively male. Comparatively it is a more serious version of TOMMY more sex-scent oriented than HUGO and has a broad spicy mid-range. Cool Water is a great smelling cologne. I used to be an Eternity man and once wore it on a first date. When I went on a spur of the moment second date with the same person I borrowed a friends bottle of Cool Water for a quick spray. A few days later when I was talking to the girl on the phone I happened to mention the need to purchase some more Eternity. She quickly informed me that whatever it was that I was wearing on our second date smelled great on me and to stick to it. Elegant fragrance

I think Antica Farmacista has the finest home fragrances available. Yes they are more expensive than most brands but their scents are sophisticated pure and long lasting without being overwhelming. There isn't a scent in the product line that isn't wonderful but my personal favorite is Santorini. It's warm and fresh with floral notes very complex and lovely not too feminine and not too masculine. Expensive but better than all the rest

I've had at least 5 different brands of these reed diffusers and the Archipelago is by far the best. Yes it's also the most expensive. It's scent is longer lasting and exceptionally pleasant. I've had numerous lavanders but I think this is the "best" but that's always going to be a personal choice. This is an amazing scent that will fragrance your entire home. These candles are heavily scented- in a nice way. I also appreciate the simple glass jar. These candles are slow burning. They burn for approx 45-50 hours.



Red Currant smells fresh and fruity with a nice tang to it. All of the fragrances are really unique. My personal favorites include: Red Currant Soku Lime Rain and Vanilla Grapfruit. The presentation makes a great hostess gift.More detail ...

Improvement suggestion

I bought a diffuser and I loved it... but the bottle only says "archipelago" no name of the fragrance!! so I have spent $145 trying to find the right smell again! You should put something on the bottle so that we can reorder. What I am looking for smells like tubarose hyacinth - floral but not flowery. Help-- I have had the bamboo/teak - NOT IT the Bergamot Tobacco - like it alot but not it ambiant - big investment and definitely NOT it. Your search is over - this one actually smells when lit.

I know you. You were me. Looking for what seemed to be a simple thing - a scented candle that ACTUALLY smells up the room when you light it. You've bought the cheap ones in the grocery store that sent out the weak scent of well grocery store. And some candles smell like spray room deodorizer which smells like what one would use in the toilet which then make you think of poop which is not at all what you were going for in the living room. So then you hit the expensive pretty versions - perhaps even in candle stores with cute waxy names. They are not candles my friend. They are sculptures. Some fancy ones come with cute packaging and crispy dried flowers. This is when you lose your patience. I DO NOT WANT CRISPY DRIED FLOWERS. I WANT A CANDLE THAT PUMPS A GOOD SCENT ALL OVER A ROOM WHEN I LIGHT IT.



This is it. Votivo. You will walk into the room and that room will smell like the candle. The most universally loved scent is probably Red Currant. I also enjoy Rain. The little glass it comes in makes a cute vase after the candle is done. Plus they make perfect last minute hostess gifts as the box is very nice and expensive-looking.



So Votivo isn't the cheapest candle in the world. They're still cheaper than buying a bunch of cheap candles that stink...weakly stink.More detail ...

I received one of these candles for Christmas in Red Currant and love it! I use it in my home office while I'm working and it's heavenly. Votivo Candles Rock

I have tried a ton of candles out there- and these are the BEST by far. They are well worth the $25 price tag. The scent throw is amazing and the fragrances are really unique. One candle can fragrance your entire home. I always get a ton of compliments whenever these are lit. They are heavily scented (in a good way) and burn for about 45-50 hours. I also appreciate the simple glass jar. The box makes a great presentation as well. If you can't tell I think Votivo has it going on...

Soku Lime: Pucker up baby this one is fresh and zesty

Vanilla Grapefruit: Sweet and savory blend of sugared grapefuit

Teak: This one reminds me of my husband warm and sultry

Wild Orchid: I'm not big on floarls but this is a nice alternative- perfect for Summer

Creme Brulee: Rich and decadent vanilla swirled in brown sugar

Clean Crisp White: Smells like a warm fluffy freshly laundered towel

Rain: Spring all the way with plenty of ozone

Enchantingly Beautiful!!

I am a fragrance fanatic but have very particular tastes. This is the

first time I have EVER bought a fragrance without having sampled it first.

I just had a feeling about this perfume that proved to be spot on. I had

never even heard of it until I saw it on Amazon and I ordered it from the

reviews I read and the beautiful packaging.

This perfume has turned out to be one of my favorites!!! It is light and

etheral and not overpowering at all which is what I look for in a fragrance.

It is extremely feminine and girly. I have no regrets about taking a chance

on this perfume. It has such a unique smell that its difficult to actually

describe it. Its one of a kind. I would recomend it for anyone who likes

very soft feminine fragrances. The bottle is gorgeous and classy. The
